  PURPOSE OF JOB:   
  Minimum of two (3) years of Linux system administration experience.  
o         Experience with Linux / Unix operating system: devices and device driver fundamentals, file system concepts like inode and superblock  
  .         Experience working with firewalls, network proxies, Apache web servers, Tomcat / Jboss application servers  
o         Experience with at least two of Ubuntu Linux, SuSE Linux, RedHat Linux & AIX.  
o         Understanding of SAN and NAS storage concepts.  
o         Experience with {Ubuntu} network installation environments preferred.  
o         Ability to write detailed scripts in any shell scripting language - Bourne Shell preferred  
o         1 senior-level IT Infrastructure Operations Linux admin with ~5 years experience that has (a) strong communicative skills (b) ability to solve problems on his / her own – even when they reach outside his / her competence area   
  Minimum of two (3) years of Linux system administration experience.  
o         Experience with Linux / Unix operating system: devices and device driver fundamentals, file system concepts like inode and superblock

Job Title:  Network & Security Engineer   
      
  Location:Beijing      
  Years of Experience Required:5         
  Education Level Preferred:Bachelor or above  
   
  PURPOSE OF JOB:   
  Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.   
   
  Provide level-2 support in network globally with responsibilities of operation, diagnosis, problem investigation, technical troubleshooting and solutions.  
   
  TOP FIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:              
            % of Time Spent        List the five major responsibilities (over 10% of the incumbent’s time).  If this is a re-evaluation, provide key changes to the job.  
  1.        20        LAN Operation - Operation and management on routers/switches. Hands-on proficiency in managing Cisco routers/switches to solve complex issues.  
  2.        50        WAN Optimization – Monitor, Diagnosis and troubleshooting with WAN issues. Cooperate with vendors to solve WAN performance issues.  
  3.        20        WAE Performance – Cooperate with vendors to guarantee Cisco WAE works well.  
  4.        10        Netscreen Troubleshooting – Provide level-2 support for Netscreen firewalls issues.

  ADDITIONAL INPUT:   
  Solid technical background in routing/switching, TCP/IP and Routing protocol and security.  
  Hands on working experience in MNC.  
  Good understanding of MPLS, QoS, ITIL.  
  Experience in WAN accelerator and NetScreen Firewall products.
